FONDAZIONE CASSA DI RISPARMIO DI TERNI E NARNI was founded on 24 July 1992 as a spin-off organization of the local savings bank.  The Foundation operates in various fields including: scientific and technological research, art and cultural heritage, public health, medical prevention and rehabilitation, education, charity and local development.

CONFINDUSTRIA UMBRIA is the regional branch of Italy’s leading manufacturing and services association. It is led by independent entrepreneurs and is an apolitical, non-profit organization.

With over 137 years’ experience, Acciai Speciali Terni is now one of the most important European steel plants. Acciai Speciali Terni Spa (AST) can boast a long industrial tradition with over 137 years of presence on the market and now ranks among the most important European integrated cycle steel plants. The company’s core business consists of flat rolled stainless steel products, for which AST is the market leader in Italy and one of the top four manufacturers in Europe. In addition to flat rolled steel products, the company produces electro welded stainless tubes, through its Tubificio Division, and forgings made of special steel, among the largest in the world, through its Forging Division.AST manufacturing facilities are concentrated in Terni, in an area of over 1,500,000 square metres, and cover the entire manufacturing cycle, from casting to packaging. Equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, the AST plants provide about one million tons of special steel per year. Fucine Umbre is a make to print company, operating in the aeronautical sector, that manufactures components and equipment that require, in addition to mechanical machining and finishing activities, also assemblies and testing. There are five application areas: landing gear, wheels and brakes, actuation and control systems, rotors and transmissions, and structural parts.

Tarkett is a worldwide leader in innovative flooring and sports surface solutions and in Italy has its strategic center in Narni with the Linoleum production site and sales offices. Narni plant, founded in 1898, is an excellent example of a circular economy. Linoleum indeed, is manufactured with natural raw materials such as linseed oil, pine resin, wood flour, cork and jute, which come entirely from renewable sources. It is 100% recyclable and has the lowest environmental impact if compared with the products of the same market segment, as well as being “carbon negative” in the whole main offer (2.5mm) starting from the raw materials to production (EPD N°4789356590.101.1)
